What I think is folly is that so-called “evangelicals leaders” such as Ralph Reed feel like they can blow a whistle and control their followers as to when and what they will vote. Even this ex-evangelical gives more credit to the evangelicals than that.

I've been waiting for this shoe to drop ever since the first accuser came forward. All I've read about sexual predators is that they seldom only have one victim. So if Kavanaugh did it the first time, the likelihood that he mistreated other women rises substantially.

Now is the time for the President and the GOP to drop the nomination for another qualified conservative and move on. The more they say things like "boys will be boys" or that these accusations are some how a liberal conspiracy, the more they sound like the discriminatory white male good old boys club that they are already accused of being.
