Most of the mainstream denominations have gone with the NRSV. I still prefer the RSV which preserves some of the KJV cadences without its stiffness. My exposure to the HCSB is that it makes fairly good devotional reading but it (for me) lacks a dignity for worship.

A casual reading of the Holman CSB seems to indicate it is more "gender friendly" [read that more inclusive] than some older translations. Where it is obvious that a term was "generic" in meaning even if masculine in form they seem to have made allowances. The TNIV may be a bit more inclusive but I really can't see why all the fuss over the TNIV. I do read the ESV and The Net Bible as well as the TNIV and The Message.

The old copy of the Berkeley Translation I bought years ago [later 1950s?] was the complete Bible. But it may have been published NT first and OT added at a later date

This is embarrassing. While I didn't know much about the Berkeley edition, I think the one thing I thought I knew about it was that it was NT only — and on introspection I hate to admit it but that notion seems to have resulted from confusion on some level between Berkeley and Phillips. ;-(

Come on now. Cheer up! As Pogo once said, "All of us are ignorant about something." In my case it is not "something." It is many, many things. I keep working on it but at this point [moving on through my 70s] it looks like I'll still have a few [Ha! Ha!] things to work on in eternity. Can hardly wait to get into the heavenly library.
