State Conv spending: BGCT 2007 Budget

I'm not an expert in BGCT finances or budget and don't intend to become one, but here are some compensation figures for BGCT staff from their 2007 budget. I've rounded off and these are salaries only. For ministerial staff, I suppose one would add on a housing allowance.:

Exec Dir $175,000
COO $135,000
CFO $130,000

Various ministry directors (I count 28 of these): $80,000-$90,000 range for most of them.

I'd guess most Southern Baptists, clergy or lay, don't have a feel for compensation of denominational staff.

Average pay package for BGCT pastors was about $77k in 2006.
