Addenda: Do you remember?
Several years ago, some aspiring contemporary Christian music producers sought to create, promote, and sell CD's (or it may have been back during the era of cassette tapes) in which the rock-type music was back-up to the lyrics in Spirit-inspired tongues.
I think the product was ignored, rejected, demonized, or simply ridiculed by the public.
At least, it didn't sell.
I consider such snafus in the Christian arena as a stumbling-block to seekers of God and Godliness.
But, then, someone (was it P.T. Barnum?) once said, No one ever went broke under-estimating the intelligence of the American public.
