Business Meeting

Following the service today, Fremont Baptist held its annual business meeting, at which we adopted a more or less balanced budget, and re-elected our officers and committee chairs. The Vice Moderator, Sarah, was unable to continue due to work-schedule conflicts, and I was elected, unanimously with one abstention.

My understanding is that my main duty, so long as the Moderator doesn't miss any meetings, is to watch over the church's bulletin boards. And, of course, I have to get the sinners in the basement to tone it down so God can hear us singing.
