Congratulations Spartans

That what our church sign says as of this morning. Just a way to let students , staff and faculty know we are proud of the Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake Highschool School winning its first ever State (NY) championship in any sport. Over the weekend the Spartans won the New York Class A State Baseball Championship. Many times in Football, Basketball, Track and Soccer, Tennis and Golf they have been second but like that famous auto rental company the baseball team kept trying harder and now have that valuable FIRST . Having watched these kids for a bit over one and a half years I am rather sure the Baseball teams accomplishment will spur the other teams to greater heights. The school also does great work in Music and Drama, as well as in academics also. Last week Trudy was a part of the schools Awards Day, presenting two $1,000 scholarships from the church.
