David:
Obviously, the Oklahoma legislature needs to work out some kind of deal so some of the massive AGW can be diverted to their state. Such action would have 2 good out comes: One, Oklahoma could be less cold and, two, the place from which the AGW is borrowed from would become less hot.
We in Alabama might ought to do the same. As of right now we are predicted to get rain then sleet and snow. However with temps above freezing the duration is expected to be brief.
Gardening note - I've mowed and dug up my winter garden and am into replanting for this year. I am very happy with my winter experiment and plan to have a winter garden again this coming winter. I can effect the weather under my plastic covers.

David:
That is quite a spate of na-saying articles. Does this all mean that I'll have to work harder next winter to grow my winter veggies?

Prediction alert! Next winter will be as cold as this past one - maybe colder. And I said it first right here. So there!
But it will all probably be just "local." It will be where I live and where David lives. It will have nothing at all to do with "climate" and certainly nothing to do with global temps.

I observe Earth Day every night. I turn all the lights off when I go to bed. Does that count?

Two stories of note both more political than technical:
