In a blow to Trump’s plan to place a citizenship question on the census form (probably for roundup and deportatation purposes), Chief Judge Roberts sided with the 4 leftmost judges in a 5-4 decision. Roberts went the other way on the gerrymandering as William posted.

This one I'm not too exercised about. I've done enumeration for the census twice. You record the answers folks give. And it's voluntary. No one compels an interviewee to answer. A citizenship question would probably drive down cooperation.

I haven't decided if I'm going to do the 2020 census. Pay is ~$15/hr. I hear hamburger flippers get that in WA and they don't have to read a map.
