Not Roy Again!

I was in Alabama this week and watched one of the local newscasts. It appears Roy Moore is planning to run again for US Senate in 2020. Can't Alabama's GOP come up with a better candidate than "Rock Roy" who forgot the 7th Commandment on his rock?

By what measure is Moore’s 7 sexual harassment claims in his 30’s disqualifying for a Senator while Trump’s 24 sexual advances throughout his life not be disqualifying for President?

Both ought to be disqualified. Just like Moore, Trump should not be on the ballot. If the GOP allows it, it shows their lack of sensitivity to women.

Admitted criminals (Hollywood Access tape) ought not be in government service! The GOP does not even want criminals to vote.

Bringing up Clinton isn't a valid argument as long as the same thing happens with Republicans and all they do is nothing. If there's going to be any kind of moral force behind your argument, then your GOP buds and particularly your other Evangelical friends will have to do more than complain about Clinton but do nothing about the mess in your own house.

What makes the GOP hypocrisy even worse when they bring up Clinton is that Trump took advantage of the women who claimed sexual harassment and abuse by Clinton. He used them, blatantly, despicably and shamefully manipulating their feelings and their situation to try and blunt the effect of the Access Hollywood video that came out just two days before he played their feelings and anger and got them to come to a press conference two days before the debate. His only concern for them was how their presence could help him politically. So Clinton getting brought up as an example when there's been sexual abuse by Republicans erases any credibility of the argument.

Clinton's affairs and the allegations of assault was the philosophical foundation of Evangelicals and the Religious Right. Character in a candidate mattered to them, they claimed, and Clinton was disqualified because of his immorality. But Trump is not, because God uses evil people to accomplish his purposes, and nah nah boo boo, Clinton did it too.

Hey, the country can throw da bum out in 16 months or so...if they want. What my trumphatin friends have always wanted is for the election to be overturned or the candidate the country elected disqualified. We do that stuff...on Election Day. Stock up on anxiety meds until the next one.
