Hello guys and gals,
Thanks Ros for the email.
Never was it my intention to be gone this long. When the last outage occurred, I sauntered over to another discussion forum and got involved. That along with only so many hours in a day and the huge amount of time I am working on trying to get our church relocated back to our familiar meeting place has consumed me.
The other forum is down and I do not expect it to rise again, as Connect 316 becomes more and more irrelevant (My opinion only).
It was nice, and unexpected, to see that I was missed.
It would probably be best if iI did step down as a moderator as my time is not what I thought and hoped to give here. That and I really don't think there is much a need for this as most of us here know each other and know what to expect. We all can stretch the boundaries at times. But I do think most of us are not surprised when it happens and self-policing could work in the political part of the forum. Again, just my opinion.
The church is going well. The move has hit us hard. It has been more than 6 months now and we are unsure of the future (in relation to permanent housing). It is hard to build upon not knowing, especially when the distance between the two locations (where we were and where we are) is problematic. We are still growing. Baptized 5 more this past Saturday... Below is one of the 5. Joe Metri from Lebanon.
See y'all around.
