Criswell spoke in S.C. in 1956; same year in Gaffney

And here is what happened in my hometown that same year. I did not arrive till 1962. In 1977 or so Stewart Newman told me and my Dad his Criswell story Duke's Curtis Newman was later to write up easily googled as "Never Had I been So Blind."

Here is Gaffney in 56.
The bombing was about half mile from Central School. I walked past the house almost every day for about three years, school days.

Later it was the home of Don Gann't Gov Richard Riley (Clinton's sec Ed.) best friend in Gaffney, the home Riley stayed in when he campaigned in Gaffney in 78.
