Today, it was announced that Terry Hamrick is also retiring after 15 years with CBF. This is definitely a moment of change for CBF.

My relationship with Terry goes way back to my second church at Hartsville. Terry and his wife were totally active and helpful with our youth activities. He was managing the small local Sears outlet and struggling with his call to ministry. I was delighted when he answered it positively! His wife's dad was one of the finest Pastors in SC and came from the church I last pastored, N. Rocky Mount in NC.

Terry has always been "the real deal." He has suffered greatly in recent years from back problems, but keeps his smile in the pain. His height bespeaks the basketball he played while growing up.

Good luck, buddy. You have done a great work and I'm sure it's still not over. Your name doesn't get mentioned as often as Dan Vestal, but I'm sure his ministry time has been made much more effective with you by his side!
