Venal abortion politics played against Warnock in Ga

Politics born out of race baiting on the 60s as asserted in Stuart Stevens book it was all a Lie.

Atwater in his infamous NWord memo of 81 said you cant say N igger ( he repeated three times) anymore so we have to appropriate the politics of guns and abortion to stay in the game with working class white folks.

Warnock is a Dem. Dems are abortion supporters. That’s that. Nothing new to see here except Warnock being in favor of all manner of religiously driven liberal policies except the smallest measure of protection for the unborn.

Such will not hurt him with his constituency but may motivate voters to vote against him in the runoff. It’s all about get the vote out, not changing anyone’s mind. Maybe the dems can squeeze in a vote from the misunderstood Fidel who had a Warnock connection.

...and, this just in, Warnock was accused of running over his first wife’s foot. Bitter divorce apparent. Yeah, and you can’t serve God and the military.

Weeks to go yet. More fun stuff to come out in these races to save the country from the socialist mob.

'The Truth about this claim.

First wife’s (Ndoye Ouleye) claim was refuted by the physical evidence examined by officer and medical personnel.

Warnock said Ndoye accused him of running over her left foot with his 2014 Tesla while they were arguing in her driveway. Ndoye was reluctant to show her foot to the officer, who wrote: "I did not see any signs that Ms. Ouleye’s foot was ran over." Medical personnel arrived and were "not able to locate any swelling, redness, or bruising or broken bones on Ms. Ouleye’s left foot."

and
Warnock called police to Ndoye’s Atlanta home shortly before 8:30 a.m. on March 2.

This claim was given to the AJC by Erick Erickson a RW radio pundit; typical accusation from the RW pundit who influence RW supporters who do no check up on FACTS

You are right, Warnock supports a woman’s right to chose abortion. I disagree with him, but if I were a GA voter not enough to make me vote for Trump supporter Kelly Loeffler

William, do you believe Trump won?

Trump lost...and lost...and lost. Way past time to move on. President elect Biden is in my prayers.

I will not remind my friends here of how they refused to say that Trump won in 2016.

Footgate... may need more investigation.

You had a redo plan to vote again. Not your best moment but the shock of a trump win may have addled your brain. Sandy, of course, never accepted it.

All that is past. Pendulum has swung. It will swing back.

What “redo plan” of mine did you have in mind??? And what evidence do you have that Trump’s election “addled my brain”???? You are way too subtle to understand at times.

Truth is I was leery about Trump’s character/leadership/honesty (and I was right to be so); but had real hopes that Trump would do some good -namely doing what promised:
1) get our military out of the Middle East
2) a $1T infrastructure program
3) improve the economy for the middle class
4) overturn Roe vs Wade

He did none of that.

BTW, Inequality (a long term ill that I have tracked for decades as William should know) has gotten somewhat worse.
Image
(awaiting 2019 DATA)

Instead he has:

1) lied to the American people to the tune of approx 50 lies a day
2) sided with authoritative leaders around the world
3) displayed cruelty at the border
4) ignored scientific and academic experts in favor of his arrogant “gut”.
5a) mishandled the pandemic. Statistics show that ~98.5% of the deaths could have been avoided if we followed the stringency South Korea followed and ~70% avoided if we followed what Germany did) How many needless Covid-19 deaths were caused by delays in responding? Most of them. Sorry but that is what the DATA shows.
5b) all in name of protecting the economy which has flailed anyway (much worse than the 2008 recession)
Image
5c) and Trump has shown little leadership in bringing relief to millions of Americans

Even today he is:

1) focussing on election grievances (the worse election loser in US history)
2) raising money for himself Trump raised more than $170 million appealing on false election claims
3) perhaps stoking a violent insurrection (Proud boys, etc “standing by”, Trump loyalists planted in DoD) - let's hope not.

From Gerry Milligan... William, your religious right beliefs are so wrong. Democrats SUPPORT a woman's right to choose how she cares for her body. Not all (as you insinuate/erroneously state) Democrats are abortion supporters. Another example of single-issue voters.

Footgate and abortion are a distraction

Postby Stephen Fox » Sat Dec 19, 2020 10:16 am

For about ten years now I have challenged William and like minded babdists who voted for the fundamentalist takeover of the SBC to do the easy google of Stansell, Holy War, New Republic and read the concluding seven paragraphs on how GOP strategists like the Devil's playmates, Atwater, Rove, Breitbart and Bannon perfected abortion as a wedge issue. Also read my blog on Sizzlin Lindsey. As Cletus said to the Nutty Professor, It's Aint nuttin but a short walk.

And in his sermon on abortion in 85 the great Frank Harrington of Peachtree Prez, about 50 miles south of Winder and Thornton said in my hearing on Television: "The Weight of protestant Theology comes down on the side of the Mother". If its good enough for a great friend of Wieuca Rd and Johns Creek Bill Self, it's good enough for me.

As for Footgate lets see some investigative journalism to turn up any friends or relatives of friends or Hedge fund party goers of Kelli Loeffler to see how many of them have had abortions or what they think about the issue or how it plays in their political calculus.

It is my understanding Pope Francis is no champion of abortion, but it is also my understanding were he a citizen of the United States, like Dorothy Day and Mario Cuomo he would not vote for Donald Trump or Tommy Tuberville or Jezebel Loeffler but like his fellow Catholic Nick Saban vote for Biden, Warnock and Doug Jones.

Miguel De La torre at religion dispatches, Steve Shoemaker and Steve Harmon at Baptist news, John Pierce at goodfaithmedia, Curtis Freeman of Duke Baptist studies: all have weighed in on facebook deploring the Loeffler and Perdue campaign as all discerning Christians should. And that includes Doug Carver, retired Chief Army Chaplain, native of Rome Ga and Dykes Creek Baptist Church over whom my grandfather WD Shorty Fox prayed over as is the testimony of Carver. Lets find out Carver's rationale in this vote as he is on staff with the HMB so he shouldn't be hard to find for footgate investigative journalists or friends of the ghost of Billy Sunday Birt!!!!!

Totally unintelligible. I plan to early vote today. Cast my two votes for life, liberty, and happiness.

My mailbox is complaining about the load. At least two pieces of GOP mail every.

I have one remark about abortion politics and the GOP. In 1984, I voted for Ronald Reagan who promised that the abortion issue would be resolved in his second term. It wasn't. Then came George H. W. Bush who also promised to deal with the wholesale misuse of abortion. He didn't. Then in 2000, George W. Bush pledged to get the Roe v. Wade issue settled by the appointment of judges who would change the politics of abortion. They didn't. Then came Trump pledging action, but he didn't act. My dad had a saying that certainly applies. He used to say, "Fool me once; shame on you. Fool me twice; shame on me." I no longer believe any of the GOP candidates in this issue. I've been fooled too many times.

The alternative? Vote for abortion funders?

It’s not the only issue. In some races not the most important one.

Sometimes, I can at least trust what Democrats say about abortion to be true. I'm not so sure that the GOP has proven trustworthy but has said what they thought would get votes. Politicians who don't tell the truth are major offenders in my book.

Gorra on Faulkner, CBF's Stephen Reeves on Warnock and Loeff

Postby Stephen Fox » Tue Dec 22, 2020 10:37 am

Thornton is out to lunch. He says my post was unintelligible; maybe to him and Gray Allison but not to most folks who are educated on these matters.

Raising the ante a little find the Review of Michael Gorra on Faulkner in the Atlantic; and there click on the link to a piece of pre election 2016 by another author on Faulkner and Trump. That is the bigger picture Nikki Haley clubfooted as a former UN Ambassador when she made appearances for Loeffler against Warnock over the weekend in Habersham and Forsyth County, within an hour's driving distance of Thornton and Winder, in the heart of North Georgia's Trump Country.

If Thornton had my vision informed by these recent takes on Faulkner maybe he could discern the difference between what Lincoln called positive and negative Liberty.

At minimum read Stephen Reeves today at good faith media.

Between Adrian Rogers and Daniel Vestal God Was Not Neutral, and God is not Neutral Jan 5 in Georgia even if Thornton and likely Doug Carver's notions of Liberty and the Kingdom of God are sophomoric to be generous.

Gray Allison and Criswell

Postby Stephen Fox » Wed Dec 23, 2020 10:19 am

I can't say that I knew Allison had passed but if I knew I had forgotten. I did stumble on Criswell's last sermon, a utube easy google for the Old Time Religion. It was a bout 2000 to a packed house at a Pastor's conference at Tebow and Jerry Vines FBC Jaxville Florida. Look it up over the holidays, great entertainment for a time like the concluding sentence of Train Dream, Gone forever. Look away Dixie Land. And sincere all the best to you and yours this Christmas season. My last blog is spectacular. Read it as well over the holidays. has legs for Georgia and beyond especially the final link to a young woman that would make Marshall Frady proud.
