Funeral

Postby Stephen Fox » Thu Jul 30, 2020 2:04 pm

I watched all three and a half hours of the funeral. Almost bailed before Obama spoke but glad i did not. He was great. I hope he tours with Doug Jones in Alabama because so much is at stake there with Tuberville's NRA/Abortion candidacy coded against the very Legacy Bama should be most proud of in John Lewis. And God Help Southern Baptists in the state if they are silent, ignorant or complicitous with the super trumper Tuberville.

I called Senator Shelby's office today and was as forthright as I could be about what's at stake in Bama. I think staff, even the senator himself will be watching DuVernay's Netflix doc 13th where you hear Lee Atwater in his own words in the 25th minute.
