Rashida Tlaib uses expletive while calling for Trump impeach

Its bad form and not helpful. As a Democrat I don't want to undermine the fact that the President is a moral and ethical zero by sinking to his level.

I chalk this up to youthful zeal (and the fact that most people I know under 30 cuss like sailors anymore.)

Bad words are said frequently.

What is incredible here is the shrill complaint against a new Congresswomen from right wingers (not just rvaughn but all over Fox News, the pundits, etc.) for one such use in a private setting when there is no commensurate complaint against Don Trump who has repeatably used bad language including the f word:
. Note this was recent, f word used 3 times, many other profanities. (aside: the fed workers are not “striking”).

. Note the crowds love it when he uses the f word.

Also note the other curse words from President - e,g. "s******* countries”, “P****”

Not a shred of credibility left in those right wingers.

Remember Jesus's words about pointing out the speck in your neighbor’s eye vs the log in your own eye. Same principle applies to pointing out the speck in opponent’s eye vs the log in the eye of who you are trusting in. Read Matt 7:1-5. Matt 7:6 says (at least I take in this way): Of course your private judgment is needed to know who is swine and not swine. In my book Trump is swine and impeachment is more than justified right now (no need to wait for more politically advantaged time as Nadler suggested).

Rvaughn - Take back your link or augment your complaint to include Trump. As is, it only shows extreme political bias and perhaps a little misogyny.

The fact that Trump, just hours after he issued his blistering criticism of her foul language, indulged in about fifteen minutes worth of curse words and foul language in addressing the opposition to his boondoggle, tax and spend wall. That does not excuse the use of expletives by the congresswoman, but it does nullify any criticism of her from his self-righteous supporters.

Yeah, Tlaib at least has youth as a defense, whereas Trump only has gender.

Both should get a little flak for their vocabularies, but not a lot. It's normal these days (though rare in church).

Being 64, and old enough to remember the song when it was fresh, I consider anything under 45 in a politician to be youth, both as to standards of decency and as to level of maturity and/or experience, whereas I feel roughly the President's peer agewise (I know he's a bit older, but not near as much so as they are younger) and I consider myself his superior in both standards of decency and level of maturity. Can't speak to the experience bit really; I've been running for President since 1968, but like him, I never held secular elective office before unless you count ASB Parliamentarian, which I think was actually appointive. I have more experience than Trump in church offices, though.
