It's been entertaining (better than the summer of O.J. Simpson—early 80s) to observe the righteous angst among the mod-libs. One thinks of Geithner, Daschle, and Richardson, as well as Obama, Reid and Durbin back in 2009. Geithner took over the Treasury Dept., the very agency from which he was committing theft until he got the nomination and was found out and had to ante up, though he coughed up only two years worth of his thefts, while he actually had been stealing for four years...tens of thousands of dollars. Whereas New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson threw in the towel for the Commerce job because of alleged PAC peccadilloes (funds used personally instead of politically), Geithner chose to brazen it out...disgusting for both him and Obama, who should have axed that nomination the minute Geithner was exposed. At least Richardson didn’t steal from his own government. Former Sen. Tom Daschle, tapped by President Obama to lead his healthcare reform campaign, failed to pay more than $128,000 in taxes in the three years before Obama nominated him to head the Department of Health and Human Services. Obama threw R&D under the bus, along with the Rev, Dr. Jeremiah Wright, a beauty who was Obama's mentor...or was he? Then of course, Obama, Reid and Durbin locked Obama's successor out of the Senate and had to be turned around by the court, a nasty decision based on the Illinois Constitution. The current corruption is merely more of the same. Voters expect it and are not surprised when it occurs, particularly remembering Prez Bubba (weird sex right in the WH), who would have been axed by the Me-Too gang if it had existed then, though its predecessor-gang (the ladies in a huff) filled D.C. in protest of the 2016 election-results in January 2017. Trump's guilts, if any, are as nothing compared to Hillary's as State Secretary or Comey's in his leaks to the press via a professor-friend and a rabidly happy MSM. Plea bargains amount to nothing since the recipients merely sign-on to whatever statements their prosecutor buddies devise. Placing them under oath does no good since they have nothing to lose in further lying. The truth is not an issue; rather, deep-sixing someone else is all that matters, in this case Trump. The rats have gone for their holes, though Manafort didn't make a deal and has become the fall-guy even though he had nothing to do with Russia vis-a-vis the elections. Turns out Russia didn't affect the vote, either, just made the DNC gang look like idiots as well as believably dishonest. So...the usual ho-hum. The greatest disgrace belongs to the FBI, its image sorely tarnished by its top thugs. Makes J. Edgar Hoover, with embarrassing dossiers on everybody from JFK to MLK, look like a saint.
