I am simply comparing David's perspective, which he shared, to that of Anthony Jordan, who has made similar observations about the reliability of CNN. They also hold similar views on global warming. They were both vocally opposed to just about anything President Obama did.
My theological perspective is quite compatible with that of Southern Baptists. The way I develop and practice my values, according to that theological perspective, is different from most Southern Baptists and out of those interpretations, my political view is quite different from that of most Southern Baptists, on many issues, and about many things. I used to be bothered by that, but I'm not anymore. People change for a variety of reasons. From a denominational perspective, David distanced himself from Jordan and the BGCO. But on these issues, they're in agreement. Pointing that out isn't hitting below the belt.
