Tragic Univ. of Alabama in Huntsville, AL shooting

There was a tragic shooting in the biology department around 4:00PM this afternoon. A total of 5 faculty members and 1 staff person were shot. There are 3 dead, 2 in critical condition and 1 in stable condition. The alleged shooter is a Harvard trained faculty member who was denied tenure today. The shooting occurred in a meeting of the biology faculty this afternoon. No students were present or involved. Suspected shooter is in custody.

So sad. UAH is a top notch University. Lots of pain here right now. Please pray for our community as well as the school.

Keith, I thought of you when I read this news. It is sad, tragic and those involved have my prayers.
Your commentary on the thing has me flummoxed. Most people endure severe disappointments in life without murdering innocent people.
