One of my best days last year was at Homecoming at Furman where I took great delight in the company of a former HS coach who coached a Methodist Minister's Son and the Son at one time chaired the Wofford Trustees.
On the Other Hand Vaughn has a historical point, especially when it comes to the Gezork Affair At Furman in the late 30's.
And Wayne Flynt's Keeping the Faith is now a matter of the Public record, as is William Thornton's devotion to Vince Dooley, a known Catholic , and the Georgia Bulldogs.
And a student at U Bama recently told me of Nick Saban's presentation on character and Values to honors students in Tuscaloosa.
And of Course There is the Blind Side.
Vaughn is weighing in. I hope to hear what James Dunn thinks soon
