Please Accept My Humble Praise
Please accept my humble praise
O’ Lord of majesty,
in grace You mercied me with love
from dawn’s antiquity,
You caused Your word to come this way
the greatest truth to see,
the voice of Your inerrant will
through all eternity,
with pen and ink on scrolls of skin
and dried papyrus leaves,
You spoke through men of old renowned
proclaiming true beliefs,
a revelation record
imprinted on my heart,
Your golden truth a shining light
to brighten every part
of mind once sorely darkened,
a lost and sinful soul
deserving sternest judgment,
yet You made me whole
sending Christ, the One You chose,
He came and sought me out
to save and set me free in Him,
erasing fear and doubt
that I will live in Heaven’s Home,
forever in Your care
in praise and worship thanking you,
I long to see You there!
