2 issues here: Perfect Bible text / homosexuals in churches forever or so.

1) The Inerrant Bible is a straw dog heating people up over nothing. Anyone claimng to have a Seminary degree and not knowing about all the textual variants has not even read the Preface to the KJV which clearly states that italacized words are additions to the basic translation text.

Anyone looking at the Nestle Greek Text quickly notices some pages contain a few lines of what is thought to be the best text and the rest citing all the variants in the many codicies and manuscripts. We don't even have any originals when the trouble makers add that aspect to their inerrancy statement just to cover stuff they know is NOT TRUE NOR ACCURATE!

2) I have served with a Senior Minister who was a hidden homosexual and died of AIDS in the last 20 years. It was tragic. I know more ministers of music and choir members who girate that direction and try hard to hide it. Many churches have gifted male organists and instrumentalists who are well know for their personal activities. It is all overlooked because they are "gifted."

Show me one word Jesus uttered to make any gays leave his fold. A distorted sexual outlook has often been part of religion as if we are not to do or think about what God provided for the future of mankind. The more you deny religious sexuality the more people obsess with it in the dark corners of the church facilities and yard.
