In an email from an attorney in Bham today read nationally on NPR's Talk of the Nation great insight into Bama Judge Marsha Blackburn's ruling.
There were demonstrations against her ruling at the campusses of UAB and UBama, Tuscaloosa. I am looking to see what Hugo Black's Grandson, Stephen, an Ethics Proff, Yale Law and Emory Div grad says about the matter
Joe Godfrey, who had lunch with Judge Pressler and Judge Roy Moore in Montgomery in April 2002 told me June 27 at Highlands UMC in Bham it Albert Lee Smith's widow Eunie, activist with the Eagle Forum and Bama Tea Party, whose Husband was a nightmare for James Dunn as Aaron Weaver will report; Eunie Smith was a driving force whispering in the ear of the Bama legislature to push Bama's Immigration bill through.
Whether public school teachers in Alabama will urge Rick Lance and Bob Terry to distinguish themselves from Eunie Smith and Scott Beason of Steve Gaines, FBC Gardendale remains to be seen.

The state Representative for Marshall and southern parts of Dekalb County Al was quoted at length in the Sept 29 Ft. Payne Times Journal. The GOP Rep is active member of a UMC church in Albertville and take issue with Bishop Willimon on this matter. His comments are seen at Willimon's Peculiar Prophet Blog where Willimon is endorsing the Dream Sabbath for UMC churches in North Alabama, a strong look toward the Dream Act.
My friend Joe Bob Mizzell is out to lunch. With other leaders in the SBC in Bama he is quiet on the role Albert Lee Smith's widow Eunie and her tea party played in the creation of this Immigration bill.
Mizzell and Rick Lance could take a strong look at Dianne Wintson's piece on the Tea Party and Father Coughlin couple days ago at religiondispatches.org for some framework from on high from which to revamp their thinking on this matter according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Civil Rights Movement in their state, and current narratives now being written and lived out in their midst.

Kobach worked with Atty Gen Aschcroft in the Bush 43 administration. He is highly paid and tea party politically motivated. Every indication is Eunie Smith is hardwired into his network and Rick Lance as the Sand Mtn Reporter reports is silent and out to lunch on the whole charade.
