James Dunn on SBC Takeover/Aaron Weaver Tribute bio

I have read Aaron Weaver's new book Soul Freedom on james Dunn. I join Bill Leonard and Bill Moyers in giving it a hearty endorsement.
I am disappointed in Ed Pettibone's testimony in Faith and Practice that he chatted the time away and did not get to Kirby Godsey's event from Aaron's book signing.

Aaron has some stellar quotes from Dunn that brought it all back to me; if nothing else Dunn was grand in the tradition of Stewart Newman's dissent to Criswell in 56; Dunn in his time standing up to Albert Lee Smith, Pressler and Sam Currin, a snake pit from Hades. Dunn fought it out with them and deserves the tribute Weaver gives him.

I may attempt to go outside my pay grade and submit a larger perspective review to one of progressive Baptists stellar publication, weaving Weaver into a review of 5 other books I have read on that recent period; all reads for me since November of last year.

In meantime, as some of you trickle in with a read of Weaver on Dunn would love to see what you are thinking and may quote you in my planned submission.

Woe unto a student who challenges his position with solid reason. He could be a next generation PhD, but get an "F" for the efforts when an insecure already PhD is his adversary!
