Politics, for those who claim leadership in the religious right, is clearly not about the social issues of importance to Christians, nor do these leaders seem to care about the character of the people they choose to support. Trump is a vulgar, potty mouthed, greedy casino owner and speculator. The fact that he was even invited tells you that Ralph Reed couldn't care less about genuine Christian values.

This is somewhat similar to the Bush Inaugural gathering where a group of self-appointed Southern Baptist prominents showed up to hobnob with the President elect and discovered they were at an event sponsored by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon.

Most Southern Baptists should be appalled that Land supports Romney, a Mormon with whom Southern Baptists have nothing in common.
