It is with sadness that I share with you that Alan Day, the Senior Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Edmond, OK, died early this evening while riding his motorcycle. No details on the incident have been released pending an investigation of the accident. Alan was not my Pastor, but he was a gifted minister of the gospel and a fine person. Please pray for his biological and church families in this time of grief and loss for them.

I saw this on the news last night...first the news of a motorcycle accident on the early news, then the identification of Alan on the late news. We knew him when he was a trustee with the IMB. He and his influence will be missed in the Edmond area.
