Let's watch Ben Cole and see...I cannot say that it is not entertaining to see him in action.
One simple question for my second favorite Okie: If Wade had merely let Floyd's comment slide, would any of us, any of the bloggers, even know about it, much less have spent the better part of a week talking about it? The answer is clearly, "no."
There is a great value in choosing the matters to communicate about, especially to communicate your offense about. It doesn't look like this is a value Burleson has considered.
I predict he will continue to isolate himself, even from those in sympathy to his substantive causes. The value of martyrdom is one he seems to be intimately familiar with.

Wm., and T.D., please forgive the interuption of the dialog the two of you are having, but Wm.'s last comments caused me to look at Marty's blog...First, after reading post #18, I read some more posts, (Wm. did they not teach you at Mid-America to not take scriptures out of context?...to me, the same applies here). First, I discovered that poster #18 was Keith Eitel's assistant...Hmmmmmm. Then, I read several more posts and a couple of other blogs (Art Rogers for one...T.D., if you did not know, Art is a new Okie). I would say that my NON-SCIENTIFIC perusal revealed only 1 post that supported what Dr. Floyd said and those refuting it were too numerous to count (I only have 10 fingers and toes).
Wm., your loyalty to your old prof is laudable, but I, too would like to know where he came up with this thought. Evidence available seems to indicate he was wrong.

That would be remarkable, indeed. Would said reconciliation and restoration include those who are not inerrantists, and that such people would then hold positions of leadership in the SBC?
