I suspect that no one who agrees with the SBC resurgence, the BFM2K, will fit the label of reasonable as moderates use it.
Among those suggested, I like Chapman's independence this year prior to Greensboro. I know little about Yarnell. I love the fact that Kelley is interested in running a seminary (unlike, apparently, the big name that presided over the namb meltdown) but his ties to Patterson, fairly or unfairly, limit his getting a hearing.
Bryant Wright seems to be in line for the SBC presidency. I love his brief radio spots here around Atlanta. They are well-received, an excellent and reasonable evangelical voice in contrast to some of the more shrill voices.
