Bloggers take aim at Guidestone, retirement funds

With zeal for righteousness, the SBC young bloggers have suddenly awakened to the fact that Guidestone invests in businesses that (gasp!) sell alcohol and other nefarious things. See and for another. Guidestone addresses this every few years, a quick check showing this 2004 .

Well, hey, I'm glad to know the brethren are so interested in that in which they have so little stake at the present. Glad also to know that the blogthren are not above a little legalism of their own.

My young blogging friends...tell you what...I won't stand in the tatoo parlor door and complain about you getting a Christian tatoo if you keep your fingers off of my retirement funds. Thank you very much. And, look around, there are plenty of alternatives to Guidestone if you aren't satisfied.

Who's next in the bullseye...maybe a weigh in for SBC messengers.
