Jon, it is mind boggling to me that you pulled it off so well with short notice. I’m glad you were able to do so. And I’m glad your national hosts continue to let you minister.

We stand amazed that it actually happened. Lots of people doing lots of things to make sure. From arriving early to set up. To providing transportation from old location. To speaking of victory, even though we already miss the familiar. No one let this bum them and sour the day. Even our offering was more than AED 14000 over budget needs. That’s around 4000.00 USD.

Our new motto... WE ARE EBCI

Thank you Tim and others for your prayers.

I’m taking today off.

From Gerry Milligan
Jon (and everyone else reading this), it is so heartening to me to see how churches in Dubai are now working together to further the cause of Christ (ex. DEC making room for EBC,I). There was a time in the history of the evangelicals in the UAE that this would never happen. In fact, it was a struggle to gain "approval" for EBC,I to become a part of the evangelical community. Praise the Lord it appears that more maturity is arriving in Dubai. Too bad that adversity is necessitating it.

Our second meeting went great. Numbers climbed to 238. Still lots to get sorted... AWANA... YOUTH MEETINGS... All that will come on next few weeks. Have a few months of lease still on villas but have to sort all that out. 20 years of stuff in closets and storage.

Thank you all for your prayers.
