I would be thrilled to see an elevator built in our church with a nice big plaque honoring a long serving church secretary that recently died who was rarely able to attend functions in our social hall because there are so many sets of stairs to go down to get there. She had to haul an oxygen tank with her. Back when the church was built, "Shut ins" stayed home, the didn't go to work, or attend church with walkers and wheelchairs. That's the sort of tribute that is worthwhile.

Too funny. I'm sure Jesus is quite pleased. Considering what they memorialize, "stained" glass seems appropriate.

Oh dear. Brother Jerry, are you referring to certain "stains" left behind in motel rooms? Did I actually say that? Oh hush my mouth.
