I hesitate to mention it, but here goes.
Doesn't matter one whit how many babies are conceived if they don't live to see birth. No workers, no one to tax, no income for the government when the baby lands in the trash can.
Pragmatically speaking, we could have secured our borders and raised our children. We chose to kill our children and look the other way and wink when replacement workers snuck in.
It has us in a financial pickle of, dare I say it, Biblical proportions. Truly you do reap what you sow.
Ed: Very rarely does a baby
end up in a trash can. And there are no purple elephants.
noun: baby; plural noun: babies
a very young child, esp. one newly or recently born

There is little worry about underpopulation as long as only 2 countries in the world (Russia & Greenland) have legal abortion rates above 50%.
The U.S. at 22.6% is Number 31. And there are 49 nations with a lower legal abortion rate than ours.
Our largest source of Illegal immigrants is Mexico where the abortion rate is 0.07% .
Cuba's rate is 34.1%.
I have long said on these boards that I am neither pro choice nor pro life as applies to the question of abortion. I am Pro Reason.
And I am persuaded that anti abortionist need more rational rhetoric to make their point if indeed they have one. No Purple elephants and babies in trash cans or lack of tax payers.
