Via Brian Kaylor, recently ran in Ethics Daily. This is what disgusts me with SBC polity: nothing with teeth can be done to correct the situation. Everyone hides behind autonomy. The MBC has been at these shenanigans constantly over the last several years. No reprimand will ever be forthcoming from the SBC annual meeting or probably any other state convention or entity for such a blatant disregard for separation of church and state and Christian fellowship and unity. If we can't keep each other accountable or enforce any semblance of church discipline then how can the term "Southern Baptist" have any meaning whatsoever?
"But for our parts, to take a carnal weapon in our hands, or use the least violence, either to support or pull down the worst, or to set up or maintain the best of men, we look not upon it to be our duty in the least..."
