Tim Bonney has started a thread at Public Policy on PCA's Akin and his gaffe over the weekend. But as Paige Patterson said Abortion should go over as well as the Inerrancy Thing; and Influential Charles Pickering of the SBC Peace Committee and former Prez of the Ms SBC is key player in the Personhood adventures I think it is also major SBC discussion.

FTR Noted in a rereading of Cothen's SBC history, he identified Pickering as a middleman, a sensible swing voter on the SBC Peace Committee of 87 with Kate Campbell's Dad Jim Henry. If Pick was the middle, well we know the rest of the story.

So Akin has all kind of implications for SBC and in Bama and other places Gov Bentley and Rick Lance; Mississippi Pickering ought to be called out on it!!!!!
