Who paid for the stained glass windows?

Very pertinent question from SBC Voices 35 comments and counting on William Thornton provocative recent blog at that site. They have about settled Paige Patterson's chef matter decidedly in Willie Tee's corner and most of the brethren there are enthusiastic with Kudos for Statham's finest.

I hope William can report definitively soon on the stained glass in SWBTS Chapel and whether or not the alleged boy sodomite Pressler stained is still there and how it fares.

I would guess that some of the donors who have threatened to stop giving were among those who came up with the money for the windows. They need to go. That kind of self-glorification does not belong in a theological seminary.

It doesn't seem that Southwestern will miss much of the threatened contributor's money, at least when it comes to paying the bills and other operational expenses. It seems like most of that money went to personal extravagances of the Pattersons, pet projects around the school like having all steinway pianos or stained glass of themselves.
