Haruo, thanks for sharing this story. It does raise a question of curiosity in my mind: is the use of technology (such as Power Point) in ethnic congregations characteristic primarily of U.S. ethnic congregations, or is this also becoming normative among Baptist congregations in other nations (particularly non-European nations)?

February 10-27, 2009, The Rev. Dr. Mark S. Caruana, Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Utica NY, will be visiting Thailand and Burma with a small group of American Baptist denominational leaders, regional executives, pastors, and lay people. The trip is sponsored by the American Baptist Churches/USA's Burma Refugee Task Force. While in Thailand, the group will visit many individuals and organizations who minister to the refugees from Burma living in Thailand.
