Disaster relief

Postby Ed Pettibone » Mon Sep 22, 2008 10:15 pm

NYS has a group of men from at least three associations that will be leaving for Louisiana next Sunday around noon. Our own Jim Meek and a group from his former church in Clifton Park, NY, in the Capital Area Association. They will drive over to the finger lakes area of the state to join a group from the church at Pen- Yan. This will be the shake down cruise for our newest disaster trailer unlike our LARGE simi trailer that carries a large generator and has showers and sleeping accommodations for six, this new trailer is approximately 17 ft. It looks like the trailers used by a lot of regular flea market vendors. It is used only to carry equipment and can be pulled with a pickup truck or SUV. It carries a couple smaller generators chain saws and a wide variety of hand tools, plus a couple crosscut saws, hard hats and other protective gear and climbing gaffs, fire extinguisher and First aid kits.

Please be in prayer for Jim, Art and the whole crew from NYSABC.
