First immoderate post

Since Trudy appears to have disappeared along with Ed from the moderator list, I guess this forum is now rudderless, so I can get away with all kinds of stuff. I desist. But I could. Is there a moderator trainee in the wings?

ED: In truth Trudy pretty much gave up on these forums after not more than a half dozen unsuccessful attempts a starting a positive thread and keeping it positive. I have her permission to say that my resignation also speaks for her. I do hope they find a new moderator and change the name soon. Bruce has agreed to change it and to let me take The ABC Family Roundtable identifier with me as I start a Personal Blog. When I have that going I am hoping that Trudy will find time to be involved Bruce has agree to help me get it set up and David has agreed to list it with the others linked to the BL.C's home page.

I wish you ABCers here, especially the ex-SBC ABCers well. Timothy, so long as he stays away from economics, is a top-drawer guy. There is none like Hauro. It ought to be fun.

I really don't know Haruo, tomorrow and Wed Trudy and I will be in Albany and then
Friday and Sat we will be Boston for the fall retreat of the BFNE at the Walker center. And Sat afternoon we will be in Hartford Connecticut for the USF UConn Football Game Sunday we will attend church some where along the way and play tourist on the way back as it is it looks like Trudy is going to end the year with more than a weeks vacation on the books and it doesn't carry over so we may be making some additional one or two day trips.

Yesterday the Adirondack Association had its annual meeting up near Lake Placid, (At JAY) and it was so warm the doors where left open. A year ago we hosted the meeting at Minerva and there was 4 inches of new snow on the ground.

I am moving from Moderating the Baptist Faith and Practice Forum to moderating the ABC Forum. The Forum name will change per Bruce's agreement with Ed shortly when we think up a replacement.

I don't know all the ABC terminology, but as an ex-SBCer there are some common threads from time to time. This forum never gets quite as controversial as the SBC one for there aren't as many leaders who make utterly stupid statements. Carry on in style.
