That should keep Bromo-Seltzer in business for another year. A collective burp and you might blow the place away!

One of the downsides of changing denominations is not getting to see people at events that you used to attend.

I always enjoyed the ABC Biennial. It was a good time to catch up with colleagues that I'd gotten to know through the General Board and other ABC connections.

I hope you all have a blessed Biennial meeting in Portland!

Ed: It has been a few days, we are within a half a days drive of getting home. The U- Haul guy did come through with a new truck (737 MILES) . We are now just west of St Simmons Island Ga. The landscaper says the lot will be finished tomorrow but we can unload the Truck when we get in today. We are looking forward to being back into the coach.

Ed: We did get home on Friday afternoon. The landscapers where (are) still working but they and some neighbors helped to unload the truck. The Landscaper got us a great deal on a timeshare where his wife works, for Friday night. On Saturday he gave us a ride down to his brothers automotive restoration shop where our Motor-home was undergoing some touch ups. We are quite pleased with the results. Jeff and his brother are both artist in their own field. l drooled over some of the cars Mike Is getting ready for an Auto Show and Auction in Indianapolis next month. Some of his work is in Jay Leno's collection.

I am looking forward to both the ABC and CBF meeting in a few months, I hope to talk with some folk in both organizations, about the potential in this part of Central Florida for a progressive church plant. Just this past week we discovered a lady at our bank is the wife of a fellow in ABC Development for the national office .

Ed: Three Days on the road, 681 miles. 285 today, not quite to Baton Rouge, La. Does any one know if Rick Wright is still there. Going to give the church a call when we get there, hope he is still there. I had never quite realized how far it is across the Pan Handel of Florida. I am surprised how coll it is up here, we may end up turning on the furnace to night

We now get to add three states to the map our RV travels. We have all of the states where we have traveled together painted in, now we putting the name on each one we travel through with the Grey Ghost on the map.

As far as I can tell, at UBC Baton Rouge. On the other hand, he has shut down his blog for political/theological/humanitarian? reasons. Wish I'd had a chance to see what brought that on. I sent him a heads-up about your imminent arrival.

Rick Wright just returned my email. He says "if it's possible" he can welcome and meet with Ed + Trudy. His daughters graduate from LSU next week. He says to pass on his phone numbers. If you meet him, say hi again from me.

Ed: We arrived in San Antonia Tx. around 4:30 yesterday afternoon.. Drove downtown later in the evening. A lot of Modern skyscrapers some built above 1880s commercial enterprises. All in all we where both rather disappointed. After church this morning we will go back down to the River Walk area, park and mingle with the crowds to see if we are any more impressed. We are in an RV park that is clean, reasonably quiet but not close to much of any thing. The tree on most every lot but unfortunately the one on our space, blocks the satellite signal but we have several channels on antenna.
