Ed: No not the Italian Rome, we are going to the Dela Lake Bible conference Center, Rome, New York, for the 2013 ABC/NYS regional Missions Conference.

We will have Missionaries Dan and Sarah Chetti who serve at the Arab Baptist Seminary in Beirut, Lebanon. Also Missionary Dr. Anita Gutierrez Who with her Husband Don serves as a Medical Missionary in Durban, South South Africa in partnership with the Baptist Mission of South Africa.

Work in other parts of the world (Burma/Thailand, Haiti, Rwanda & Vietnam) will be reported on by NYS Staff and Pastors who have had missions experience under the Auspices of ABC.

Their will be 5 Breakout sessions 4 focusing on local mission activities and one on organizing International mission trips for your church.

One of the best Missions conferences I have ever attended. Timing had a lot to do with the success. About 75 in attendance. It was held at the Delta Lake Bible Conference Center facility which is operated by the CMA. Staffed primarily with volunteers, Many of whom have private cottages in which they live from mid spring until the end of September. So pretty much, we had the whole place to ourselves. They did have a kitchen staff on hand and they prepared our meal Friday evening, plus Saturday's breakfast and lunch. More than enough food.

Met a pastor (Wes Smith) who had grown up and was ordained in the Burnt Hills church. This fellow started life in the UMC but his parents changed to the local Baptist church while he was in grade school. He is pastor of the FBC Hamilton, Ny.

We are looking forward to attending the ABC National Missions conference at Green Lake in July 2014.
