Today's NY Times has a story on Tenet's CIA. Bottomline: Unprepared under Tenet.

An interesting reader comment to the report follows:


Credibility is in short supply in terms of our regard for our government officials and institutions. Is this indictment of Tenet’s leadership warranted or is it another politicized branch of our government casting blame on someone other than Bush and Co.? If the criticism is warranted–two questions: are we any better off now than we were before September 11 in terms of homeland security? And–if Tenet was as incompetent as the report suggests, why did he receive an award for his service from the President? Can we believe anything anymore about or from these clowns?
