Being the old fashioned, liturgical guy I am; I'm by no means anti-Roman Catholic. This, however, just stinks; and is yet another reminder of why they need to start allowing their clergy to marry. No sane parent could be this cruel or this stupid.

Baptists preach against smokin', drinkin', carousin'... but never against the sin of gluten-y. (Wait a minute, that should be gluttony... Sorry). :wink:

Within almost any religious expression, unfortunately, are the god-makers (Hmm... The makings of a book title, perhaps?)

... whose internal nature requires the existence of a legalistic God. Thankfully, mine does not. A deep love for peanut butter from the home state of George Washington Carver may have something to do with it....

My Dad apparently pointed out that if they had to use unleavened bread (because of the literal rendering of the scripture) then they should be using real wine as well. He apparently didn't get a direct response, but got some dodge about the translation of the word "wine" could mean "fruit of the vine" and didn't necessarily mean the alcoholic beverage.
