SNAP works on many fronts, including trying to get statutes of limitation extended in state legislatures. So, that is certainly part of our efforts.
I don't know why you talk about "retribution", Ed, because I don't know anyone who is actively trying to address the problem of clergy sex abuse who cares one iota about retribution. What we all want is for church and denominational leaders to institute effective measures for prevention. Because those of us who were victimized by this crime know first-hand what terrible harm it causes in the mind of a kid, and because we don't have the luxury of turning away from the awfulness of it, we do the one thing we can do.....and that is to work toward trying to prevent this nightmare from happening to kids today and kids in the future.
