Subject: Dr. Adrian Rogers

It is with great sadness and concern that I share with you the latest medical update regarding Dr. Adrian Rogers. This great, godly man, whom I love like a brother, appears to be losing ground. We just heard that what was believed to be double pneumonia is actually cancer that has invaded both lungs.

Please continue in prayer for precious Adrian, for Joyce, and for the entire Rogers family. I can hardly breathe as I write. But God is in control and He makes no mistakes.

We will let you know as more information is received.

Bob Dylan's Song the |Masters of War, especially the Pearl Jam Eddie Vetter version comes to Mind when I think of Adrian Rogers and what he did to Randall Lolley and Roy Honeycutt and Jimmy Carter and the SBC.
Judge Frank Johnson said he could not forgive George Wallace nor Tommy Tarrants.
I will ask Jesus to give me a contrite and humble heart in this matter.
I will leave Rogers in the hands of Almighty God to deal with; as I take some comfort knowing it is the same who is my final Judge and not Uncle |Prentice

Sore losers are what you sound like. In Baptist polity, majority rules. People woke up and turned back to God. Plain simple. The SBC was in awful shape and People like Rogers saved the convention!!!!!
