Charles Stanley's son. Is he mocking the "conservative resurgence", the fundamentalist takeover of the SBC.

Not the first time someone's words or phrases in a sermon lit a firestorm, nor that because of the intense focus on doctrinal conformity and correctness, they got taken out of context.

I get his point, and I don't wholly disagree with what he is saying. It's all about context.

Keep in mind, Stephen, that Andy Stanley is not a Southern Baptist. I get the impression the conservative resurgence doesn't mean a lot to him.
