UMC Caroling Booklet

The Methodists just put up this year's link to their free PDF caroling booklet. You can print as many copies as you need, five sheets 2-sided, center-stapled to make a nice 20-page booklet of words with suggested keys and first notes (no music, but most if not all the songs are to tunes everybody at least vaguely knows).

Here's the songlist, with page numbers from the UM Hymnal (1989) and in the booklet itself:

1. Angels from the realms of glory 220 4
2. Angels we have heard on high 238 4
3. Auld lang syne ---- 5
4. Away in a manger 217 5
5. Deck the halls ---- 6
6. (The) First Noel 245 6
7. Go, tell it on the mountain 251 7
8. God rest ye merry, gentlemen ---- 8
9. Good Christian friends, rejoice 224 9
10. Hark! The herald angels sing 240 9
11. He is born, the divine Christ Child 228 10
12. Infant holy, infant lowly 229 11
13. In the bleak midwinter 221 11
14. It came upon a midnight clear 218 12
15. Jingle Bells ---- 13
16. Joy to the world 246 13
17. O come, all ye faithful 234 14
18. O come, O come, Emmanuel 211 14
19. O holy night ---- 15
20. O little town of Bethlehem 230 16
21. Silent Night 239 17
22. There‟s a song in the air 249 18
23. We three kings 254 19
24. We wish you a Merry Christmas --— 20
25. What child is this? 219 20

A "words-only" hymn (carol) book. Neat.

For what it is, I think it's the best I've seen. You could even print it on plastic sheets so the caroling party wouldn't ruin the booklets in the rain.
