Street Fair

Postby Haruo » Sat Jun 16, 2018 10:57 am

Today is the Fremont Fair and its attendant Solstice Parade, famous for a sizable cadre of "naked" bicyclists (I don't consider them naked, as they almost all wear quite adequate amounts of body paint). I will be sitting in the parking lot from 10 to 11:45, collecting 20 dollar bills in exchange for parking spaces for fairgoers. Then I will migrate down the hill to the fair proper, where for two hours I will pour coffee and lemonade for the crowds. It's a very popular event, especially during the parade when there are all these naked bodies to look at, and the weather is supposed to be about ideal (upper seventies and clear). Pray that I will represent Christ well in these ministries, and that Mrs. Haruo won't suffer unduly from my absence.
