The reason you can't find "As a fire is made for burning" on Google is that the correct incipit is "As a fire is meant for burning". You will find a text on pp. 6-7 of . Ms Duck has revised it a couple of times, though, and it's possible I actually had a version with "made" before me when I translated it. I prefer Beach Spring over Hyfrydol, though obviously either will work as would many other tunes.

a prayer of Bahá'u'lláh's ("Create in me a pure heart, O my God...)
a reading from Confucian scriptures

If so, was this a service blending different philosophies of God as equal, or simply a blend of writings connoting something else…perhaps something categorized as "God in Art," for instance? This is not critical, just a question.</b>
