If you didn't get an opportunity to watch this tonight, go to the website tomorrow and watch. It's worth the time.

What's the catchy phrase? We report, you decide. Well, there's some good information there for you to ponder.

Fake news. Maybe residents of our country could follow our laws.

Then in the days of desegregation, you would have been with Lester Maddox, right?

Never ate at the Pickrick. Never got an ax handle. Didn't vote for Lester. Didn't see him ride a bicycle backwards.

You might find some differences in mistreatment of citizens and deportation of illegals.

My point is that segregation was the law in GA in that era. There was a recognition that such laws were unjust, and Christians had to lead the fight against unjust laws. Protesters of segregation were condemned as those who would not obey the law. The question is, "When does justice trump legal obedience?"

The point at which civil disobedience becomes morally imperative is one on which believers never agree universally.

Rachel Maddow does not do fake news. Of course, for Trump followers and Republicans who've lost their conscience, real news is hard to swallow, and even harder to recognize.

No, but she doesn't do much new, hard news either. She mostly does commentary laced with humor. She depends on the mainstream media, for the most part, for the selection of facts that her comments refer to and her humor plays off of. And the mainstream media has a noticeable bias against Trump; since the election I would say it has become more marked than Fox's bias the other way (though I watch so little Fox I'm not competent to gauge that really.) I find her a lot of fun to watch, but would want to try to corroborate the facts if they seemed too implausible to me.
