In a denomination that views the local church as the only real church, why is it so all fired important to protect the association's autonomy? It isn't a Bibical entity by Baptist doctrine. Shouldn't the church's autonomy be the primary concern not a human created association?

Y'all talk autonomy while acting almost connectional at times.
