I'm practicing standing between my LGBTQI friends and colleagues and those who purposefully or un-purposefully are harming them. As a white straight male who has benefited from Church systems it is my responsibility. Just as it was my responsibility to stand up for women in ministry years ago. Nothing Methodist about it. It is simply Christian.
